Littleham Film and Social Club

Saturday 11th July

6:30pm - 7:00pm start

Dear all

Littleham Film & Social Club

On Saturday 6th June, one of June’s stormiest evenings, film club members and guests braved the elements, to watch the highly acclaimed film Hamnet. This emotionally charged film deeply touched us all, and engaged our senses, as we watched the dramatic final scenes unfold in silence and awe.  Outstanding performances by Jessie Buckley and co-star Paul Mescal, made this a must-see movie.

A special thank you to Trevor our projectionist for the evening and our volunteers Jenny & Stephen, Sally & Rory Akam, Rosie & Juliet and all those attending that lent a hand to make the evening run smoothly.

Our film on Saturday 11th July is Living (2022), 1hr 42, cert 12: a British drama telling the story of an ordinary man, reduced by years of oppressive office routine to a shadow existence, who at the eleventh hour makes a supreme effort to turn his dull life into something wonderful.  A heartwarming film, with an outstanding performance from Bill Nighy.

As always, we meet at Littleham Village Hall at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm screening on Saturday 11th July - a week later than usual - and all are welcome members and non-members.

A well-stocked bar, amazing raffle, free tea, coffee, & biscuits in the interval, £1 ice creams, tall seats on the back two rows and a warm welcome will greet you.

Come early if you like to sit in the front and benefit from the sub-titles.

Please bring small change for ice-creams and raffle (it really does help).

Hoping to see you on Saturday 11th July,

From the Littleham Film & Social Club Committee
