Littleham Village Hall
Saturday 1st November.
6.30pm for a 7.00pm screening
Dear all,
We had a great turnout on 4th October despite the raging wind & rain outside from the passing storm Amy. Our film was The Penguin Lessons, a biographical comedy drama starring Steve Coogan and Jonathan Pryce. A wonderfully funny film written by Tom Michell based on his teaching career in Argentina in the 1970’s, a must-see film if you get the chance.
Our November film is Mr Burton: based on a remarkable true story, telling how the poor son of a miner became one of the greatest actors the world has ever known! Starring Toby Jones and Lesley Manville, this is a film we have been looking to put on at Littleham Village Hall for some time now.
Please be advised that this is our final film screening of the year. We look forward to welcoming you all again in the New Year as we commence another Film Club season in January.
As always, we meet at Littleham Village Hall, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm screening on Saturday 1st November.
A well-stocked Bar, a glorious raffle, free tea, coffee & biscuits in the interval, £1 ice creams, tall seats on the back two rows and a warm welcome will greet you.
Come early if you like to sit in the front and benefit from the sub-titles. Hoping to see you on 1st November for our final film this year,
The Film Committee and all our wonderful volunteers
